There was a time we did not know If we were high or we were low Some lived in sun some lived in snow But that was all so long ago Listen to the music listen to the song Artists and poets are here where they belong If you can hear them say that they know Where we go that's a wicked lie They're scared to live We won't be scared to die And now there is not far to go So knap your flint and draw your bow Go paint your cave with red and gold Worship anew the gods of old Listen to the music listen to the song Artists and poets are here where they belong If you can hear them say that they know Where we go that's a wicked lie They're scared to live We won't be scared to die

The Sower 03:00
Now when you look into your mirror You know exactly what you'll see Is evidence of a designer What you see when you look at me? And when Van Gogh painted The Sower Did he paint God into the sky? One billion Catholics still kneeling And now I know the reason why You keep on running from it so hard sower And who am I to break the spell? So keep believing yeah it's alright it's okay You better hope I burn in hell So go now ask your senile father Just what he thinks of all this mess Yes go and look inside your good book And choose the lies which suit you best You keep on running from it so hard sower And who am I to break the spell? So keep believing yeah it's alright it's okay You better hope I burn in hell You better hope you better pray

I am hiding from you beneath the ivy in the garden Tell your secrets to no one but me but me Take heed of the hounds of this ground They'll harry these fells around Oh I shall go into the hare With sorrow and sighing and care And I go in the good devil's name Aye 'til I be fetch'd home again How she dances in the hour before dawn for my eyes Where the crows gather silent as death in the midnight For they come now in our lady's name All but for to fetch thee home Oh I shall go into the hare With sorrow and sighing and care And I go in the good devil's name Aye 'til I be fetch'd home again Cunning and art you did no lack But aye her whistle would fetch you back Oh I shall go into the hare With sorrow and sighing and care Why would I feel so this pain? Ah see I'm waking I'm waking falling home

Burn these Catholic bones get the kindling and get the fire lit Burn these Catholic bones until there's nothing but ash in the pit Burn these Catholic bones so there's nothing for the devil to claim Burn these Catholic bones when he comes for me he's gonna call my name Nothing but soil and spit made beneath a midnight moon Nothing you can do about it whenever it comes it's gonna be too soon No mad man will rule me no naked crown of thorns Go with me or to hell no god or man should tell Burn these Catholic bones so there's nothing for the devil to claim Burn these Catholic bones when he comes for me he's gonna call my name Lost on a boat at sea underneath the thunder and the rain The port is safe and warm now there's an end to my pain My god-shaped hole is filled I can worship him forever and a day Locked in a loving embrace see you face to face Burn these Catholic bones made up from original sin Burn these Catholic bones you made your bed you better lie in it Burn these Catholic bones let Augustine and Aquinas know Burn these Catholic bones as above so below

And what is more Outside time With some exceptions Loves us dearly By or large more or less In light of labours lost Running water running fire The air is the same The beard the flames the tears the stones Man in short Man in brief In spite of his strides Is seen to waste Is seen to waste to waste Is seen to waste and pine So still so calm so blue In a word I refuse The air is the same The facts the facts are there In the year of Our Lord Six hundred and something The beard the flames the tears the stones The flames!

Am I not with hosts? Am I not with hosts making din now making din? I would not cease now I would not cease between two hosts without gore Am I not he Golasser? Am I not Golasser? My belt was a rainbow to my foe I am I am a bard I am a harper piper and crowder I am of seven score musicians the very great enchanterer The world would not be Would not be if not for my offspring my offspring And the unskillful may he be possessed by the ravens And birds of wrath Am I not he Golasser? Am I not Golasser? My belt was a rainbow to my foe I am I am a bard I am a harper piper and crowder I am of seven score musicians the very great enchanterer Am I not he Golasser? Am I not Golasser? My belt was a rainbow to my foe I am I am a bard I am a harper piper and crowder I am of seven score musicians the very great enchanterer

Wassail 04:27
So here is to Cherry and to his right cheek Pray God send our master a good piece of beef And a good piece of beef that we all may see With a wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee Wassail all over this town Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown Wassail by the old apple tree With the wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee So here’s to Broad Mary and to her broad horn May God send our master a good crop of corn And a good crop of corn that we all may see With a wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee Wassail all over this town Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown Wassail by the old apple tree With the wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee Here’s to the maid in the lily-white smock Who tripped to the door and slipped back the lock Who tripped to the door and pulled back the pin For to let these jolly wassailers in Wassail all over this town Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown Wassail by the old apple tree With the wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee Wassail wassail Wassail wassail Wassail wassail Wassail wassail Wassail all over this town Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown Wassail by the old apple tree With the wassailing bowl we’ll drink to thee

Why don’t you wait awhile? Wait awhile to be seen Wait until dead of night Then you can reveal all In your shining eye There’s a million ways to be Ways that set you free You can bring me back now And when the ghost begins to leave your side Then there will be a time for you and I And when the wind begins to cry your name Then there will be a way to live again Now there’s a golden light In the clouds below A thousand altar boys Follow at your heels now And when your god begins to leave your side We’ll pull another out into the light And when the tears decide to leave your eyes Then there will be a time for you and I And when the storm begins to break your mind Then there will be a way to live again

I will be where the water runs free And the cold north wind will carry me The sun companion by my side The rivers and oceans rising tide Cormorants glide in the open skies From the cold north wind I shield my eyes One last time I fall asleep And the carrion crows come feed on me Call the river daughter See her dancing over the water Mark the beauty in her eyes Here and ever after Sing a song of love and of laughter As we go where cormorants glide Raven rook and carrion crow In the morning mist call long and low The fox and the bat and the tawny owl Sleep all day until the sun goes down The bear and the wolf and the mad March hare Run through the wood with never a care The man in green and the woman in white Sing to the earth and the goddess of night Call the river daughter See her dancing over the water Mark the beauty in her eyes Here and ever after Sing a song of love and of laughter As we go where cormorants glide Call the river daughter See her dancing over the water Mark the beauty in her eyes Here and ever after Sing a song of love and of laughter As we go where cormorants glide I will be where the water runs free And the cold north wind will carry me The sun companion by my side The rivers and oceans rising tide Cormorants glide in the open skies From the cold north wind I shield my eyes One last time I fall asleep And the carrion crows come feed on me

I was a willing man You were a willing man too Figures on the land Gently passing out of view We saw a river there We saw a river down below Wading to its southern shore We let our nightmares go Hark, awake! Meet me by the gate Across the park and wait until its dark Once around and fall upon the ground Lay me down without a sound Among the standing stones Where once were many now are few Run through the forest home How went this life for you? Hark, awake! Meet me by the gate Across the park and wait until its dark Once around and fall upon the ground Lay me down without a sound I was a willing man Hark, awake! Meet me by the gate Across the park and wait until its dark Once around and fall upon the ground Lay me down without a sound

Come away now out of the rain now No more to weep Sit beside me look inside me We too must leave this world behind Come awake now out of the dream now No mortal sleep So we sing now to bring the day down One day we’ll leave this all So hold me through this weather In the distance we can hear the thunder We two can never leave here Leave the dream now without pain now Open those eyes Sit beside me turning quietly We too must let this world be So hold me through this weather In the distance we can hear the thunder We two can never leave here We must together when the ships leave I’ll hold you close and tender What we have let no one rent asunder So hold me through this weather In the distance we can hear the thunder In the distance we can hear the thunder In the distance we can hear the thunder

Wayfarers 03:41
We listen to your stories we’ve heard them all before We put ourselves in hands we know to be the only law We hearken to the old ways you tell us nothing new We listen to the things you say but we’re not afraid of you We are the wayfarers the wayfarers Straying from the path searching in the dark Wayfarers the wayfarers We will find a way yet to be saved The sun will come tomorrow so we worship him today The moon will shine with beauty bringing death in her wake We are the wayfarers the wayfarers Straying from the path searching in the dark Wayfarers the wayfarers We will find a way yet to be saved We are the wayfarers the wayfarers Straying from the path searching in the dark Wayfarers the wayfarers We will find a way yet to be saved You may throw your stones we will stand alone Wayfarers the wayfarers We will find a way yet to be saved
